Welcome to Culture Connect

Culture Connect Pty Ltd established 2010

Culture Connect specialises in Aboriginal tourism offering unique, intimate cultural experiences with Aboriginal Traditional Owners.
Based in Cairns, Queensland, our small group experiences ensures quality time discovering the wide variety of cultural practices offered throughout the region which is rich in Aboriginal cultural diversity.
From the tropical rainforest of the Wet Tropics to the savannah plains of Cape York we work closely with Aboriginal Traditional Owners to ensure cultural protocols are met whilst delivering genuine unforgettable cultural experiences.
Visit rock art sites to gain a mystical experience or take a coastal walk to truly appreciate the survival skills of Aboriginal people. We also offer hands on art and weaving workshops, rainforest walks, kayaking, camping tours, special event packages, private charters and much more.

“Culture Connect is about connecting people with Aboriginal culture.”

Our aim is to take people on a journey, not only physically but also spiritually. We hope the landscape comes alive in their mind and they can understand and feel the story. With each experience our guests gain a wealth of knowledge about Aboriginal heritage, culture, traditions and beliefs from the Traditional Owners.
We believe that the future for Aboriginal people to be empowered is to support business ventures on homelands. We recognise that Tourism and Education is a way to keep traditional and contemporary cultural practices alive.
Culture Connect offers people unique Aboriginal cultural experiences throughout Australia.

This has been our traditional fishing place. We have been doing this since we were little kids. The whole thing is about being Aboriginal that way people can come and walk with us and share the same experiences as we do.
