Indigenous Artwork Contemporary hands on and Ancient traditional rock art
Right from the first contact via phone with Culture Connect, we were given good information as to what to expect.
The tour from point of pickup to return to our caravan park was well organised and very professional.
Both the tour driver and the traditional owner who was our guide made us at ease and were very knowledgeable.
Both were more than happy to answer any questions. We thoroughly recommend the trip to everybody.

A unique and privileged way to explore our wonderful country.
Not only did we see amazing indigenous rock art but we were able to appreciate the flora and countryside that Far North Queensland has to offer.
Cliff and Roger were generous hosts and I would have no difficulty in recommending this experience to family and friends.

It was a privilege to be shown the country and the Aboriginal art work by Vince.
I’m blown away that Vince and his family, has such generosity of heart to share their proud history and land.
Educational and insightful tour that provides much opportunity for reflection.
Thank you so much Therese Skene Victoria.

Our full day tour started with a visit to wonderful rock art, some quite unlike any we had seen before in an isolated peaceful area of country.
Dylan had many stories to illustrate the paintings and in the afternoon we did an extensive tour of the station to see management issues and environmental problems and proposed solutions.
It was a day well spent in his company on the family’s outback cattle station.

We had a wonderful tour led by our guide Pando. We would definitely recommend culture connect tours to anyone that is interested in learning about Australia’s indigenous cultures.

Really outstanding experience. Traditional owners shared wonderful stories about their country. The country is beautiful, the art breathtaking, and there was a lot of laughing. Highly recommended.

My wife & I had a wonderful day with Padno and his brothers at Culture Connect. We visited aboriginal rock art in the morning which was really extraordinary & then Padno & his brothers’ cattle property where we were shown some of the improvements they had made & were told of their tourist plans for the future. We recommend this tour for all visitors to Cooktown.

Fantastic, small group eco and cultural tourism operation. It was a privilege to hear their story and to view the rock art of their country. Thanks, Vince and Cliff !

Vince was a great guide to this amazing experience. He was friendly and informative and led us along the river bed, across the river and through the rocky land to the art. It can be quite an emotional experience to feel the presence of history and the ancestors who created these expressions of their lives in this land.

My two sisters and I had a marvellous time with our guide Cliff. It was obvious from the very start that Cliff has a deep love of his country and is very happy to share it with others. The Rock Art itself is wonderful and to experience it is extremely moving. Totally recommend this tour. They are desperate for someone to carbon date this site.

Experience Indigenous Culture At Your Own Pace
“Culture Connect is about connecting people with Aboriginal culture.”

Our aim is to take people on a journey, not only physically but also spiritually. We hope the landscape comes alive in their mind and they can understand and feel the story. With each experience our guests gain a wealth of knowledge about Aboriginal heritage, culture, traditions and beliefs from the Traditional Owners.
We believe that the future for Aboriginal people to be empowered is to support business ventures on homelands. We recognize that Tourism and Education is a way to keep traditional and contemporary cultural practices alive.
Culture Connect offers people unique Aboriginal cultural experiences in Australia.
